Ready to become a member? Simply fill out the registration form below. Our secretary will handle your application, and our treasurer will be in touch to finalize the payment details.

Membership & Contribution

GSA membership runs annually from September 1st to August 31st, with a membership fee of €350 per year. Members who are under 30 or hold a valid city pass are eligible for a 25% discount, bringing the yearly fee to €260. To apply for this discount, simply email a copy of your city pass or ID to our team.

If you join partway through the season, your membership fee will be adjusted accordingly. Additionally, if you decide not to continue within the first three months, you may request a refund for the remaining portion from the treasurer.

The annual membership fee is due by September 1st and should be transferred to our ING account: NL70INGB0007498703, in the name of Gay Swim Amsterdam. For those who prefer to pay in installments, we offer a four-payment option by direct debit. If you have already set up an authorization for direct debit with our treasurer, no further action is needed—your contribution will automatically be deducted in four installments.

Friends of GSA

Are you a former member of GSA and interested in swimming with us occasionally? As a friend, you’ll help support the training opportunities GSA provides while staying connected with our community. FRIENDS can train with us up to ten times each season.

To become a friend, the annual fee is €80, which allows you to swim ten times per season. Additionally, friends have the option to obtain a KNZB annual starting license through GSA, enabling participation in competitions and tournaments for an extra €50.
Here’s a breakdown of the options and costs:

• Active Friend: Information from GSA + 10 training sessions: €80
• Active Friend + Starting License: Information from GSA + 10 training sessions + starting license: €130

If you’d like to become a friend, please inform the secretary and transfer the appropriate amount to bank account NL70INGB0007498703, under the name Gay Swim Amsterdam, with the note “Friends of GSA.”

Please note: Becoming a friend is only available to those who were members at any point in the past. You can transition from being a member to a friend, but this program is not intended for new swimmers. If you’re unsure about committing to full-time swimming, we recommend joining us for a trial practice first by sending us an email or messaging us on social media.
